Privacy Policy
This policy explains how UPCdeal handles information when you create an account, buy UPC codes, and download an order file.
Information we collect
When you use Google login, we receive basic Google account information such as your name, email address, and profile image. For email accounts, we store your email address and a password hash rather than your plain-text password.
We also keep order details such as package quantity, country, currency, payment status, payment-provider references, assigned UPC codes, download expiry, and download count.
Payments
Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout, such as Razorpay or PayPal. UPCdeal records transaction identifiers and status needed to confirm and support an order. Full card or bank credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by UPCdeal.
How we use information
- Authenticate your account and protect access to your orders.
- Confirm payment, allocate UPC codes, and provide the order download.
- Send transaction or delivery messages and respond to support requests.
- Prevent misuse, investigate failures, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Sharing and service providers
We share only the information needed with providers that support login, payment processing, email delivery, hosting, storage, and database operations. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy terms.
Retention and downloads
Your downloadable UPC file remains available for seven days after fulfillment. Account, order, payment, and allocation records may be retained after that period for customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal requirements.
Cookies and security
UPCdeal uses session cookies required to keep you signed in. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time. To ask about your personal information or request an applicable correction or deletion, contact [email protected]. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law.
